Goliath Networks MilitaryRP Rulebook

General Rules
1.1.01 - No racism, sexism, and overall extremely toxic behavior.
1.1.02 - Treat everyone as you would want to be treated.
1.1.03 - No cheating (Hack Clients, Duping, Exploiting, Etc)
1.1.04 - No harassment or bullying of any kind.
1.1.05 - Do not advertise anything not related to Goliath Networks.
1.1.06 - If you are wondering if you should be allowed to do something, check with staff with !r
1.1.07 - No Metagame. You may not use any outside knowledge to your information. Discord comm links YOUR CHARACTER would be able to access is fine.
1.1.08 - You may not use a VPN without notice, make a ticket in the discord. ( This is to avoid Alting )
1.1.09 - You may NOT character transfer any: items, money, information or anything relating to another character
1.1.10 - You may only have One character in the main core factions.
1.1.11 - No ERP in any way.
Rules Of Engagement (ROE)

Overall, as a community we trust you with the ability to roleplay. unlike most servers where you are
handicapped with adverts & binds. most to all combat is engaged through RP. (Each factions ROE is discussed with staff & plays into the rules. There will be a link with all the factions ROE posted at the bottom)
1.2.01 - If you are one of the core factions, you are not allowed to shoot on sight unless you or your squad see a firearm. Depending on your factions ROE this may vary. Meaning, if either or core factions have their weapon out they are Optional KoS to any other CORE Factions.
1.2.03 - You ARE allowed to shoot if two parties are engaging in verbal/physical conflict. Ex. Party 1 "Ay, Fuck you get out of here you ###" Party 2 What did you say to me you lil #####" Party 1 "You heard me I said ---" Party 2 shoots party 1 you would not be allowed to just shoot someone for calling you a name once.
1.2.04- As a Militia you may Kos. However, you may not be KoS'd. This rule is limited to roleplay situations only. Ex. You set up in a valley pass and begin waiting for a patrol to ambush.
1.2.05 - As a member of the Militia you may NOT roam the map solo looking for soldiers to kill. If in a group of 2+ you may roam. groups of 1 must abide by rule 1.2.04
1.2.06 - "VDM" In the sense of using your vehicle in combat to kill others is allowed. However, Randomly killing with vehicles is not.
1.2.07 - No shooting IN or OUT of spawn.
1.2.08 - You may Not shoot emplacements from your base (apart from the provided AA cannon)
1.2.09 - You may not shoot emplacements near enemy spawns. They must be aimed away.
1.2.10 - You may not aim your bases provided AA gun at enemy ground infantry.

Roleplay Rules
1.3.01 - You must follow fear RP 2:1 ratio for all soldiers while special forces is 3:1 (Each faction may have 1 special forces division)
1.3.02 - You must follow any and all binds given to you while under fear RP or while handcuffed.
1.3.03 - You may not metagame.
1.3.04 - Any and ALL tryouts May NOT take longer than 15 minutes. Exceptions = Special Forces & Custom Factions
1.3.05 - No Bunny-Hopping while in combat. The moment you take shots in your direction or in the direction of your squad, you may only jump once every 3 seconds. (exceptions are jumping walls or other related actions)
1.3.06 - No power gaming. You are a ordinary soldier. Even if you are special forces you are only one person. Treat yourself like that. Remember, in order for a good roleplay environment. You have to be fine with losing.

Equipment Rules
1.4.04 - When stripping someone of they're weaponry, you are NOT allowed to do it without completing the proper /me's to find the weapons. breaking this rule is considered power gaming.
1.4.05 - You may have a Maximum of three landmines on the field at once, you must radio in a location of each landmine to your team.
1.3.06 -You may not repair the vehicle while under direct fire, doing this is considered FailRP/Powergaming.
1.4.07 - You may rocket PvP, Rockets should be directed at vehicles. shooting rockets at players is fine. However, it could be seen as a waste of money
1.4.08 - Emplacements may not be shot at nor from a base. This does not include outposts.

Bodygrouper Rule
1.5.01 - No switching bodygroups while in an active RP situation to give you an advantage. (putting NVGS on for a mission and other similar actions are fine)
1.5.02 - Only wear items suitable to your class (ex. No NVGS for troopers & non spec ops, no heavy rigs for light classes)
1.5.03 - No attempting to impersonate ranks you are not
1.5.04 - Do not abuse and/or be stupid with it.

Military Police Rules
1.6.02 - You have Priority over all prisoners; The only exception for this is Jager and Ranger High Priority Prisoners.
1.6.03 - The Max amount of time you can sentence anyone is 15 minutes. YOU MUST stay with them or in base for all 15 minutes.
1.6.04 - During interrogation you MAY kill whoever you are interrogating. However you may not outright shoot them. (use /me & roleplay)
1.6.05 - The Reaper class IS considered special forces.

Vehicle Rules
1.7.01 - You may NOT abandon your vehicles. They cause lag, if it gets stuck just call staff. You are done with it? call staff or hell even just blow it up.
1.7.02 - You MAY kill others with vehicles if they are a active danger to you.
1.7.03 - With a helicopter, you may not hover the enemy base and camp the exits while raiding. You MUST do passes & "fly-bys" shooting in those chances. No pilot in their right mind would hover in one area for that long.
1.7.04 - You are only allowed to use the allocated seats on a vehicle No alt+e on cars
1.7.05 -
1.7.06 - Vehicles with droppable bombs may only do 3 runs while repairing. After their third run they may no longer repair themselves (Balance)
1.7.07 - With a helicopter, you may not hover the enemy base and camp the exits while raiding. You MUST do passes & "fly-bys" shooting in those chances. No pilot in their right mind would hover in one area for that long.

Spy Rule's
1.8.01 - You may send soldiers to other factions with the intent of stealing and defecting with gear. However, two members of management must be able to access any and all channels within your discord.
1.8.02 - You may NOT make separate discords for spying without letting management know
1.8.03 - Your character will get a PK reason for infiltrating and a CK reason for defecting with gear.
1.8.04 You may leave a faction at any time without permission. However, doing so is seen as defecting and will result in a pk reason even if no gear is taken. The only way you leave a faction without any consequence is giving proper notice. factions MAY NOT keep you within the faction forcefully.

Raid/War Rules
1.9.01 - When calling a raid, you will look at the chat clock. you will then go off of the middle two numbers (ex. The clock says 23:42:11, you will advert /Raid xx:42 - xx:02) [Temp]
1.9.02 - Each raid will last 20 minutes, Wars will last 25 minutes with the last 5 minutes having perma NLR. the person responsible for calling the raid will be responsible for keeping the time. Staff Will be responsible for keeping track of the time on wars. (Temp)
1.9.03 - During both raids and wars, both sides are only allowed two planes/helicopters. They will be allowed up to three ground vehicles.

Debrief Rules
2.0.1 - Only three (3) of the highest ranking officers/nco's may be on stage at once. all else must line up in their respected lines. (The only exception for this rule is honorary ranks such as 5-star general) This is a rule for ALL factions. It looks lame seeing everyone on stage.
2.0.2 MP should be standing at the stairs of the stage, entrance to the DB and the surrounding areas of the DB (Varies per Faction)
2.0.3 - All operations discussed & conducted must be done through the IC chat. Using radios and base prox chat. This INCLUDES db's.
2.0.4 - You may not look around unless using alt look. This is for the realism effect!

Research Rules
2.1.1 - You MAY research as much as you want for as long as you want. However, you are only allowed to have one active projects per faction. (You could research a buff)
2.1.2 - You may NOT Forge your rolls in anyway. Chat logs are recorded and will be cross referenced.
2.1.3 - Researchers receive an automatic PK reason from anyone who knows they are a researcher.
2.1.4 - Every wipe will include a research wipe as well. (In exchange, research will be much easier to complete. You will not need to write essays for one item)
2.1.5 Depending on the quality of research will change the outcome of the stock & overall quality of the item.
